The Vinnies Good Night In on Friday 7 May, is simply about staying in for the night with friends, family, or work colleagues and donating what you would have spent on a night out.

The congregation of City Beach parish and the wider public present at Fremantle on Good Friday and Easter Vigil, were able to experience a Passion of Christ play, by the Disciples of Jesus Covenant Community. The Passion of Christ was celebrated by Christians throughout the world this year on Friday, 2 April. The day which commemorates Jesus’ journey to Calvary and His death on the cross, began with the Stations of Cross, followed by a 3pm service. The Archdiocese of Perth were allowed physical celebrations this year with restrictions on the number of people allowed, despite the pandemic still affecting the country. By Amanda Murthy.
Some 200 people gathered at St Mary’s Cathedral on Saturday morning, March 20, to celebrate the International Day of the Unborn Child with Auxiliary Bishop Donald Sproxton – an opportunity for parents who have experienced the death of a child, either through abortion, miscarriage or SIDS, to come a little closer to terms with their grief and loss.
