The theme of this year’s Flame Ministries Congress is ‘Heart of Worship’ and the aim is to bring participants into a deeper and more intimate relationship with God.
Perth Sister Kathleen Hitchcock SSJ was among several religious from the Sisters of St Joseph who this month celebrated their Golden Jubilee.
Sr Kathleen expressed her thanks for the many blessings over the past 50 years – from the guidance of mentors and teachers, the inspiration of fellow Sisters, words of wisdom and preparing for a brighter future.

Ukrainian Catholic Bishop Mykola Bychok CSsR has last month given an update on the situation in Ukraine during the plenary meeting of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference, requesting that bishops hold a special collection to “support refugees and people in Ukraine during this winter, which will be the most challenging for our country for decades of independence”.
