Marking the 150th anniversary of St Joseph being declared patron of the universal church, Pope Francis proclaimed a year-long celebration dedicated to the foster father of Jesus on 8 December 2020.

The Archdiocesan Centre for Life, Marriage and Family (CLMF) has made their newly launched 2021 Lenten Journal available for purchase online this week. The Centre aims to provide support for Perth Catholics across the Archdiocese as Lent season approaches.

In his 2021 Lenten Pastoral Letter, Perth Archbishop Timothy Costelloe SDB says that if during the coming six weeks of Lent we can find the courage and humility to acknowledge that we are, indeed sinful people then we will have begun the journey towards a true celebration of Easter.
