The Passion of Christ was celebrated by Christians throughout the world this year on Friday, 2 April. The day which commemorates Jesus’ journey to Calvary and His death on the cross, began with the Stations of Cross, followed by a 3pm service. Palm Sunday of Lent for 2021 has kick-started a multitude of Holy Week and Easter live-streamed services provided by the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth from St Mary’s Cathedral.

Educated at St Peter’s Parish Primary School, East Bentleigh and at Salesian College, Chadstone, from where he graduated in 1971.
In 1985, Archbishop Costelloe made his Final Profession as a Salesian of Don Bosco and was ordained to the priesthood by Archbishop Sir Frank Little on 25 October 1986.
