Debbie Warrier worked for The Record as a local reporter in 2003 and returned as a columnist on prayer, conversions and vocations since 2007. Previously she worked as a social worker in hospitals and mental health clinics both in Australia and England. She even did a brief stint as a sales assistant during Christmas at Harrods department store in London but unfortunately did not get a staff discount card. In 2001 she went back to Curtin University, Perth to become a journalist. She now writes to evangelise in print.
