Patience was of a virtue for Indonesian Catholic Community Perth (ICCP) member David Lee, who was finally baptised on Corpus Christi Sunday after the sacraments were postponed across the Perth Archdiocese in light of the Coronavirus pandemic.

It was with the supportive encouragement of her husband that Leeming resident Amy Gonsalves, now a parishioner at Willetton Parish, took the leap of faith to pray to God.

Remembered fondly by the Western Australian community as a war chaplain and hero, former Cottesloe Parish Priest, the late Father John Fahey DSO, will always be saluted for his huge contributions to Western Australia, especially on occasions such as Anzac Day.
