One of the nation’s longest running charity campaigns Project Compassion looks at the story of Thandolwayo from Zimbabwe, Halima from Bangladesh, Shirley from the Philippines. Thanks to Caritas, they have gained access to life’s basic needs, and are able to contribute to their community.
In this week’s promotion of Project Compassion 2022, we feature Shaniella from the Soloman Islands, who was faced with the uncertainty of her future when her a vocational school supported by Caritas Australia Solomon Islands school was hit by a landslide, flooding, and a cyclone. But thanks to donors, Shaniella can complete her skills training, with enough water and food to eat, and improved sanitation. By The Record.
