The Holy Father reflected on the day’s Gospel reading from St Mark (6:7-13) about the mission of the twelve disciples in which Jesus sent them out “two by two” and told them “to take nothing for the journey” but only what was necessary.

In his talk, Pope Francis reflected on the solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit celebrated that day.

With the theme of Victory, this year’s Flame Ministries International encouraged those present
to always be mindful of Jesus’ victory in our lives with hope and joy.
