In ordaining new Brisbane Auxiliary Bishop Tim Norton, Archbishop Mark Coleridge said that the new bishop would have to discover and shape his own profile and identity as bishop, “not unlike what Pope Francis has done and is doing as Bishop of Rome”.
With the theme of Victory, this year’s Flame Ministries International encouraged those present
to always be mindful of Jesus’ victory in our lives with hope and joy.
Our first member profile is of course, our own Archbishop Timothy Costelloe SDB.
Educated at St Peter’s Parish Primary School, East Bentleigh and at Salesian College, Chadstone, from where he graduated in 1971.
In 1985, Archbishop Costelloe made his Final Profession as a Salesian of Don Bosco and was ordained to the priesthood by Archbishop Sir Frank Little on 25 October 1986.
