The fruits of the First General Assembly of the Fifth Plenary Council of Australia have been
gathered together in a new report that contains dozens of proposals to shape the ongoing
Council journey.
The Archdiocese of Perth has released a book titled St Mary’s Cathedral ‘A History in Photographs’ in celebration of their rich history and culture since 1865.
St Mary’s Cathedral has completed a pathway project, which included a surprise dedication to Perth Archbishop Timothy Costelloe SDB, who celebrates his tenth anniversary of his appointment as Archbishop of Perth on 20 February.

The Perth Catholic community attended a two-hour seminar at Newman Siena Centre on 24 June, exploring a theme of the Plenary Council, “Discovering A Christ-centred Church that is Open to Conversion, Renewal and Reform.” The event led by Catholic Education Western Australia Director of Religious Education Dr Chris Cotter, was organised by the Archdiocese of Perth Centre for Faith Enrichment, as a space for the community to continue the process of prayer, discernment, and dialogue.
