The Catholic Education Commission of WA has a list of priorities for Catholic schools for the next term of State Government. Director of Catholic Education, Dr Tim McDonald, said all education sectors face challenging conditions over the next four years and it is important that whichever party wins, government is aware of them.

Cardinals begin pre-conclave meetings at Vatican
The College of Cardinals began their formal pre-conclave meetings March 4 with 142 members present, 103 of whom are under the age of 80 and eligible to enter the conclave to vote for a new pope.
