Spanish Bishop Rosendo Salvado, explained Perth Symphony Orchestra Creative Director Fiona Campbell, was very ahead of his time, was a very compassionate man and was also very interested in meeting our First Nations people of the Yued tribe.

The performance will follow his travels from his hometown in Spain to our WA shores and the impact he made on our WA history.

More than a dozen residents, and a number of lucky staff, were captivated throughout the 45-minute performance, which saw a spectacular string ensemble perform an intimate concert of exhilarating and joyful music.

The Fremantle Chamber Orchestra is back with two show dates this October. Conducted by John Keene, and featuring Emily Leung on violin and Michael Hodgkins on clarinet, the show tributes showcasing pieces from the Baroque and Classic periods. By Amanda Murthy.
