Australian Catholic Bishops call for ceasefire in the Holy Land
The Australian Catholic Bishops have this week expressed their concern for the conflict in the Holy Land.
“We believe that a just ceasefire with the release of all hostages and unhindered access for desperately needed aid are essential at this time. We support global efforts to negotiate a lasting peace.”

Archbishop Calls on Catholic Community to Respond to Parliamentary Inquiry
Archbishop Timothy Costelloe SDB has today issued an open letter to the Clergy, Religious and Lay Faithful of the Archdiocese of Perth to advise that on 25 June 2020, the Legislative Council of Western Australia referred the Children and Community Services Amendment Bill 2019to a Committee of Inquiry.
