Cuddle beds, a compassionate approach to end-of-life care
St John of God Murdoch Hospital is the first hospital in WA to offer palliative care patients a ‘cuddle bed’ during their stay. Cuddle beds allow room for family members to lay down beside their loved ones and be physically close, deepening connection and providing comfort.
