As Chair of LifeLink, Perth Auxiliary Bishop Don Sproxton said that the launch of the Archbishop’s Christmas Appeal provides the chance for us to be part of another act of recognition and solidarity with those most in need in our WA community.

To mark the 30th anniversary of LifeLink and 25th anniversary of the Archbishop’s LifeLink Day Initiative, a light show featuring large colourful images was displayed on the exterior of the front of St Mary’s Cathedral.
This year marked a very special celebration with the 25th Anniversary of LifeLink Day – with the occasion on 6 June being held exactly 25 years ago that the very first LifeLink Day for primary Schools launch was held.
The annual Archbishop’s Secondary Schools Forum in support of LifeLink Day is an invitation to make sure that we never lose sight of those people in our society who are really in need, Perth Archbishop Timothy Costelloe SDB has said.
The 36-year-old married father-of-two said he heard the Archbishop’s message during the LifeLink Christmas Appeal launch in November – particularly the words of St Mary MacKillop, “Never see a need without doing something about it,” and could foresee a good reason to ‘pay it forward’.

As part of Archbishop Costelloe’s 2023 LifeLink Day for Primary Schools initiative, students were invited to create a collage that visually expressed their learning and educational experience resulting from LifeLink Day.
Speaking via videolink for the 2023 LifeLink Day for Primary Schools, Perth Archbishop Timothy Costelloe has last week told some 450 teachers, students and principals from Perth Primary Schools that Jesus is united with those people who for one reason or another who are not able to care for themselves.
