Food drive-in gives relief this Christmas season
The Knights of the Southern Cross (KSC) Cathedral Branch 28, in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Elizabeth Quay (REQ), have last month joint ventured in support of St Vincent De Paul’s (Vinnies) “Christmas Appeal” on 21 November, collecting non-perishable food donations and giving food hampers to those in need.
Scholarship helps to upskill teachers in religious education
In 1990, Archbishop Foley appealed to the members of the Order of the Knights of the Southern Cross in Western Australia to help in up-skilling the laity to meet the urgent and growing need to provide qualified teachers of Religious Education in the Catholic school system.
