More than 180 married couples and families gathered at St Mary’s Cathedral on Saturday 10 August for the annual Marriage Day Mass. The Mass reinforces that marriage is a journey worth celebrating and a commitment worth preserving.
Director of the National Centre for Evangelisation Malcolm Hart said all Catholics are invited to participate in Evangelise, which will feature some of Australia’s leading theologians, ministers, missionaries and pastoral leaders.
A national online conference will promote understanding and explore practices of evangelisation in Australia through encounters with Christ, formation in discipleship and mission in the world. The conference will be hosted in different locations around Australia, opening on the evening of October 20.
“One part of my ministry that I have enjoyed so much, has been the preparation of couples for marriage,” said Perth Auxiliary Bishop Sproxton, during last weekend’s Annual Marriage Day Mass.
The Archdiocesan Centre for Life, Marriage and Family (CLMF) has made their newly launched 2021 Lenten Journal available for purchase online this week. The Centre aims to provide support for Perth Catholics across the Archdiocese as Lent season approaches.
