Originally opened as a parish and school hall on 8 November 1925 by then Archbishop Patrick Clune, the building was said to have cost about £4000 pounds.
The parishes of Cottesloe-Mosman Park ended the year with a merry celebration on 6 December 2020. ‘Christmas at Star of the Sea’ included a children’s nativity play, live music, band performances, raffle draws, carolling, food stalls and children’s entertainment. By Amanda Murthy.
