Introducing Sr Chitra Justin, General Member Superior of the Mother of Sorrows Servants of Mary, also known as Servite Sisters, located at Riverton, Western Australia.
Born in South India, Sr Chitra joined the Servite Sisters in 1994 after graduating with her Master of Arts in English Literature.
She was professed in 1997 and was sent to Australia that same year. Sr Chitra went on to complete her Master of Education Leadership and management at the University of Notre Dame in 2010.
Throughout her ministry in Australia Sr Chitra has undertaken many roles including community administrator, working asa school chaplain, supporting Parishes as co-ordinator of the children‘s liturgy and various bible study groups as well as facilitating sacramental workshopsand retreats for youth and adults.
Sr Chitra currently continues to serve the Servite community at Servite College as the retreat and liturgy co-ordinator.
