Catholic Health Australia is pleased to announce an exceptional speakers list for its upcoming annual conference with the theme Rejoice, Reimagine, where we Rejoice at our journey and Reimagine the future of Mission-led health and aged care.

Speakers include global AI thought leader Professor Joel Pearson, motivational speaker and

London bombing survivor Dr Gill Hicks and renowned health economist Dr Stephen Duckett AM.

The Secretary of the Department of Health and Aged Care, Blair Comley PSM, and the NSW

Deputy Premier Prue Car are also among the stellar line-up.

Professor Pearson, a leading neuroscientist, psychologist, and author, will provide fascinating insights on the AI revolution and its implications for healthcare, offering valuable perspectives on the future of medical technology and patient care.

Dr Stephen Duckett AM, a distinguished economist and author, will bring his extensive knowledge of health policy and economics to the conference which is being held in Sydney from 26-28 August.

The CHA Conference is held each year, bringing together CEOs and senior leaders from across Catholic Health Australia’s membership, who make up the largest non government group of health and aged care providers.

The conference will also feature a series of workshops focusing on critical issues on health, aged care and mission, including aged care funding reforms, hospital in the home care and digital innovation.

“We are delighted to bring together such a diverse and accomplished group of speakers for this year’s annual conference themed Rejoice, Reimagine,” said Catholic Health Australia CEO Jason Kara.

“Their expertise will provide delegates with valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing health and aged care services in Australia, particularly in the not for profit sector.
