The Young Adults Cenacle Group at Glendalough has recently celebrated the third anniversary of its commencement.

Young Adults Cenacle Group host, Richard Smiroldo, told the Archdiocese of Perth Communications and Media Office that, at its final meeting for 2014, the group listened to WA Marian movement co-ordinator Yolanda Nardizzi, who spoke about the history behind the cenacle Rosary.

“Yolanda spoke about Father Stefano Gobbi, an Italian priest, who first received an inner locution from the Virgin Mary in 1972, and went on to receive many thousands more throughout his life, before his death in 2011.

Ms Nardizzi also mentioned that following the first inner locution, Fr Gobbi spent the rest of his life travelling the world, encouraging those who listened to him to pray the Rosary and consecrate themselves to the intentions of the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady.

The Young Adults Cenacle Group meets every first and third Thursday of each month at St Bernadette’s Parish in Glendalough at 8pm for a Cenacle Rosary which includes a litany and consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady, along with reflections from readings from Fr Gobbi’s book To the Priests, Our Lady’s Beloved Sons.

Interested persons can email st.bernadettesyouth@gmail.com for more information.

Please note that the final judgement on the nature of the meditations/locutions of Fr Gobbi rests with the appropriate ecclesiastical authority
