Students from Ursula Frayne College were last month announced as winners of the Lower Secondary category of the One Minute Film Competition

An initiative of Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM) and ClickView, the competition provides Australian and New Zealand primary and secondary school students with the opportunity to make a 60-second short film or animation and win fantastic prizes in the process.

The theme for this year’s competition was ‘Tomorrow’ and prizes are awarded in four categories of Lower Primary, Upper Primary, Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary.

Two students from Ursula Frayne Catholic College, Martin Phan and Connor Hamilton, were selected as finalists in the Lower Secondary category with their short film entitled ‘Past Present Future’ and were announced as winners on Wednesday October 25.

Martin and Connor flew to Melbourne for the awards ceremony and received $500 cash.
