Perth World Youth Day 2023 pilgrims are being invited to re-convene to share the energy, love, and inspiration they garnered in Lisbon.

Catholic Youth Ministry Director Adam Phillips announced the event will feature priest-musician Fr Rob Galea as the headline guest.

“As the curtain falls on the official pilgrimage of World Youth Day 2023, we find ourselves invigorated by the transformative experiences of our journey,” Mr Phillips said.

“However – the journey has only just begun!”

“Fresh from his performance at Lisbon, Fr Rob brings a unique dimension of connection and spirituality that resonates deeply with young minds,” Mr Phillips continued.

The rally, continued Mr Phillips, is an opportunity to answer Pope Francis’s call to “Rise Up and Follow Mary’s Example!”

“Our Lady, a beacon of faith, leads us in the path of unity and compassion,” Mr Phillips said.

“It is also a chance for our local youth to connect and find a space of belonging among other Catholics,” he said.

The UNITE rally, Mr Phillips explained, has been designed as a platform for our youth to rise up and, just like Mary, leave in haste to spread this compassion and joy among the Catholic youth in Perth.

“With tickets priced at just $12, this is a chance for the entire community to come together and be part of something truly special,” Mr Phillips said.
