Notre Dame community come together at Christmas

The symbolism of Christmas was all around as Notre Dame University celebrated the 2018 festive season.

Wreaths, a reflection  of growth and everlasting life expressed through an unbroken circle brought out the ‘inner creativity’ of university staff in a wide variety of expressions from the traditional, to the contemporary (please see attached five images), decorating doors and windows throughout the Campus.

A Festive Gathering for the entire family – and open to the entire Fremantle community, featured the Starlight Hotel Choir (St Patrick’s Community Support Centre) and the Madjitil Moorna Choir, a group of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people who perform in local language.

The inaugural Nativity Scene Challenge invited all schools and departments to demonstrate the true meaning of the Xmas Crib.

Victory went to the team from Admissions for their contemporary interpretation of the nativity.
