Perth Vocations Awareness Week 2024

The Perth Vocations Office is excited to announce a series of engaging activities and resources to celebrate National Vocations Awareness Week 2024, from Sunday, 4 August to Sunday, 11 August.

The week offers a unique opportunity for our Catholic community to explore and support each other’s vocations journey.

“On behalf of Archbishop Timothy Costelloe SDB, it is with great pleasure that the Perth Vocations Office – in collaboration with Catholic Youth Ministry and St Charles Seminary – extend an invitation to celebrate and be part of National Vocations Awareness Week 2024,” said Perth Vocations Director, Fr Joseph Laundy.

National Vocations Awareness Week is an annual week-long celebration dedicated to promoting vocations into priesthood, religious life and married life in our Archdiocese of Perth.

In May, Pope Francis emphasised the importance of the formation of men and women religious, urging us to pray for their growth through human, pastoral, spiritual, and community formation.

Fr Joseph said, “National Vocations Awareness Week is our chance to implement the Holy Father’s message within our Archdiocese, promoting vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life through a variety of events and activities.”

There are activities for all abilities and tastes, and here’s how you can get involved!
