The Catholic Guy Ministry will this year host its annual Heart Women’s Conference 2019 with the focus on “hearing the voice of God”.
The ministry seeks to make the message of Jesus real, practical and understandable in your life, your local Church, the community, and the world.
Perth’s own Michele Allum will speak at the event about women’s spirituality and being involved in the Church.
Michele currently works in the resource development centre for the LJ Goody Bioethics Centre and has previously facilitated workshops in human sexuality and relationships with Catholic organisation Loving for Life for some 10 years.
“Through life, we have many questions about ourselves and our circumstances. We want to be women who are listening and discerning God’s voice by trying to figure out what is the right thing to do where we are today,” she said.
Other keynote speakers will include the creator of The Catholic Guy television programme, Bruce Downes along with his wife Rosemary.
The Catholic Guy television programme is aired in more than 130 countries around the world, seeking to proclaim the Gospel in a life, from all walks of life; both men and women and from young to older, people are left encouraged and uplifted as they experience a deeper connection to God through the ministry of Bruce.
Sandra Purcell, Communications Officer for The Catholic Guy, said they were planning a “fantastic day” for the women and are expectant that it will truly refresh and reenergise them by the power of God.
Perth will host a three-day conference from 25 to 27 July, located at Grenville Community Centre, 164 Cape Street, Tuart Hill.
Three-day conference cost: $169. To register, call 1300 734 880 or email Heart@TheCatholicGuy.com
