The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) announced last month 31August 2022 that Catholic Super has passed the Performance Test for the second year in a row.

The APRA Performance Test benchmarks superannuation funds and publicly names underperformers.

While Catholic Super passed the test again, another super fund who looks after members from Catholic institutions and shares a similar name – Australian Catholic Superannuation Retirement Fund – failed the performance test, which has created confusion for some Catholic Super members, employers, and media.

It is important to note that this fund is not connected to Catholic Super in any way.

Catholic Super has been serving members of the Catholic community for more than 50 years. We’re dedicated to putting our members’ interests first and delivering solid long-term returns.
