Saint Patrick’s Basilica in Fremantle and the Redemptorist Monastery in North Perth have last month served as venues for two Fremantle Chamber Orchestra concerts, held for the first time since the easing of coronavirus-led restrictions.

During the concert, FCO performed Johann Christian Bach’s classic Symphony in G, Mozart’s exquisite Flute Concerto 1, Australian composer Frederick Septimus Kelly’s Elegy “In Memoriam Rupert Brooke”, Leopold Koželuch’s dramatic Symphony in G minor, and Beethoven’s contemporary and Arnold Schoenberg’s late romantic Notturno for Violin and Harp.

Currently performing on a tour of five concerts started on 25 October, FCO will once again perform at Redemptorist Monastery on 14 November and St Mary’s Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Peppermint Grove on 25 November.
