And now it’s over to our very own Auxiliary Bishop Don Sproxton, as our next Plenary Member introduction.

Hailing originally from Perth, Bishop Sproxton entered St Charles’ Seminary, Guildford in 1971.  He was ordained a deacon in March 1977 and later a priest by Archbishop Goody on 17 December 1977.

Within the Archdiocese of Perth, Bishop Sproxton is Chairman of LifeLink and the Advisory Board for the Schools of Philosophy and Theology (Notre Dame University, Fremantle), a member of the Council of Priests, Archdiocesan Finance Council, Catholic Youth Council and St John of God Healthcare.

He is also a member of the Association of Heads of Churches. In 2018 he became a member of the Catholic Social Services Western Australia.

Let’s hear Bishop Sproxton’s response to what he thinks the Holy Spirit is saying to the Church in Australia at this time.
