Eric completed his Bachelor in Communications majoring in Journalism in 2004 after including an extra two years of study in History and Archaeology.
He worked as a journalist with The Sunday Times for four years before leaving to work in Educational Publishing.
He went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Management and then further postgraduate studies in everything from Advanced Research to Climate Science, completing 11 years of tertiary education.
He has worked in management roles, as a sales and marketing consultant and run a number of his own businesses.
Eric joins the Archdiocese of Perth Communications team on a contractual basis and brings his dulcet tones to the recording studio, as well as producing written copy for regular publication.

Catholic Earthcare Youth Eco-Summit: Climate Clever Schools
Students from nearly a dozen Catholic schools around the state gathered at Aquinas College on Friday, 3 September, for the 2021 WA Earthcare Youth Eco-Summit. The delegates met in discussion groups throughout the day, attending 12 sessions, covering topics such as Our Carbon Footprint and Managing Waste to Our School Strategies – What are we Brewing, interspersed with special online presentations on topics such as Pope Francis’ Laudato Si and the Climate Clever App, developed for Australian schools.
Cry of the Earth, Cry of the Poor calls for economic and ecological conversion
The Australian Catholic Bishops’ Conference, in conjunction with the Justice Ecology Development Office (JEDO), have last week launched the Social Justice Statement 2021-2022: Cry of the Earth, Cry of the Poor at Newman College. The Statement calls for an economic and ecological conversion, asserting that “humanity is called to recognise the need for changes of lifestyle, production and consumption, in order to combat this warming or at least the human causes which produce or aggravate it.”

Boastful Volunteering
