Catholic Youth Ministry Perth, with generous support from the Knights of the Southern Cross, is set to present the much-anticipated musical production “The Witness,” composed by acclaimed musical duo Jimmy and Carol Owens.

Scheduled for two captivating performances, this vibrant and spiritually enriching event will take place on Saturday, 28 June and Sunday, 29 June 2025, at St Stephen’s School Theatre in Duncraig.

“The Witness” is a compelling musical journey that explores the profound story of Peter the Apostle and his complex relationship with Jesus Christ.

Highlighting themes of redemption, personal transformation, community, and deep spiritual growth, the narrative resonates profoundly with audiences, drawing them into the very heart of faith and humanity.

Audiences can expect unforgettable melodies and emotional storytelling that vividly capture the struggles and triumphs of Peter as he grapples with doubt, discovery, and ultimate redemption.

Renowned worldwide for its inspirational message and engaging theatrical presentation, “The Witness” has previously been staged internationally, becoming a transformative experience for many attendees, often cited as a significant step toward their own spiritual awakening.

Catholic Youth Ministry Director Adam expressed excitement about this project, emphasising the dedication and talent of the young cast drawn from across the Archdiocese.

The performances are scheduled for:

  • Saturday, June 28, at 7:30 PM (doors open at 7 PM)
  • Sunday, June 29, at 5:30 PM (doors open at 5 PM)

Both shows will include an intermission, with tickets priced at $20 for general admission and $15 for students, concessions, and children under 12.
