The Disciples of Jesus Covenant Community performed their annual Passion Play on Good Friday 18 April at Holy Spirit Primary School oval in City Beach.
The play has been held annually on Good Friday and in Fremantle on Holy Saturday for the past thirty years. It was first presented in 1995, written by Gabrielle Streat (nee Stone).
Friday’s presentation was attended by around 200 people. A collection was taken by Holy Spirit Parish for Jerusalem and the holy places in the Holy Land.
This year the role of Jesus was played by Dominic Cummins.
