Year Six leaders at St Jude’s Primary Langford have spent last term preparing for a different style of Stations of the Cross in light of COVID restrictions.
Deputy Principal, Graham Maher, told The Record that all classes from Pre-Primary to Year Six participated in a beautiful and heartfelt Stations of the Cross tableau titled ‘Walk with Jesus’ which premiered online for all classes to watch.
“It was a beautiful way to come together as a school community before breaking up for the school holidays to reflect on Jesus’ journey to the Cross in preparation for Holy Week,” Mr Maher said.
The tableau, Mr Maher explained, included Year Six students performing each station in freeze frames which was either followed by a prayer or song for students to join in with.
“In light of recent events, this is a timely reminder that God is always with us, even in the most challenging times,” he said.
