Christmas – my favourite time of the year! And one of my favourite things to do at this time of year is to watch Christmas movies with my family.

A good Christmas movie, in my books, is one that presents hope beyond the odds; joy beyond the sadness; a miracle or two; a bit of romance; makes me laugh and maybe makes me cry a little too. I’m pleased to say, this movie ticked all the boxes.

Signed, Sealed and Delivered for Christmas is a lovely movie that will put a little warmth in your heart this coming season.

When four investigative postal workers finish their deliveries to children who have sent letters to Santa, they are caught off guard when a last minute letter arrives. This letter, however, is not to Santa; it is to God.

With a challenge on their hands to help a little girl find some hope during dire circumstances, the postal workers come up with a plan. It is a long shot but it is the best they can do with the time that remains on Christmas Eve.

As the process unearths painful memories of Christmases past for Shane (Kristin Booth) and Oliver (Eric Mabius), a mysterious newcomer adds a little conflict and wise counsel which culminates in a kaleidoscope of resolution, healing and unexpected Christmas miracles.

As the story unfolds, many Christmas miracles happen along the way, but the group of postal workers also become aware of the miracles and blessings that have already been a part of their everyday lives.

The rich, warm cinematography of this Hallmark Film is a treat for the eyes and the heart. It may be a good idea to keep a box of tissues nearby.

This film, like all good Christmas films, resolves seamlessly and brings a warmth to the soul that reminds us of peace on earth and goodwill toward men. Enjoy it with friends and family this season.
