In January 2015, 10 students and four staff from Kolbe Catholic College in Rockingham will be travelling to Flores, Indonesia.

They will be working with three communities in Flores, giving hands-on, practical assistance in a range of areas.

Of the funds raised for the trip, 100 per cent will go directly to the people of Flores.

On Saturday, 25 October, the group held a quiz night at Kolbe with the aim of raising $10,000.

They are pleased to announce that they reached this target and the money raised on the night will pay for the building of a classroom in the community of Nio in Flores.

The Flores 2015 group would like to thank all those who attended the quiz night and supported the cause.

Everyone was very generous on the night, purchasing over 1,000 raffle tickets and buying all of the auction items available.
