Bradley Barbuto doesn’t know anyone with MS but will tackle 53 flights of stairs at the Central Park building in Perth to raise funds and awareness for the cause.

Mr Barbuto will take part in the Enerflex MS Step Up on May 4.

The event will include teams of four and solo participants; Mr Barbuto will climb the 1103 steps on Perth’s tallest tower by himself.

“I love doing good things and I think that it is a good cause,” Mr Barbuto said.

Mr Barbuto, a personal trainer and maintenance worker at St Mary’s Cathedral doesn’t know anyone with MS but is trying to motivate himself to get fit and closer to God.

“If you have a fit mind, body and soul you are able to get closer to God and the MS Step Up is as good an excuse as any.”

Mr Barbuto took part in the Gallipoli Run for Bankwest and this is his second time running for MS Step Up.

“There is no reward for me but the view at the top is amazing,” Mr Barbuto said.

“I am doing this to raise awareness; school groups or anyone else who wants to join me can sign up.”

In 2013 Enerflex Step Up for MS raised $24,000 and are hoping to exceed this amount this year.
