The Sisters of Mercy in Western Australia celebrated several special occasions last month, commemorating several achievements which included 175 years of ministry in Western Australia, Mercy Day, and the 10th Anniversary of the Institute. The 175 anniversary celebrations began with a Mass led by Emeritus Archbishop Barry Hickey.
Acknowledging the rich history of the Greenmount Parish on the occasion of its 60th anniversary, Perth Auxiliary Bishop Sproxton spoke about the importance of good leadership, which the parish was fortunate to receive from all its’ leaders. By Amanda Murthy.
